Happy Easter!

Hi!

It's Anja here. Today is Easter Sunday. I'm spending it with my family, eating a lot of food and having a good time.
I made the last Easter card for this season for today's post. I combined different dies and made a bunny, picking daffodils.

For this project I used:
- Cottage Cutz dies (Spring Showers Bunny, Buster w/Spring Daffodil, Egg Painting Bunny),
 - Distress Inks (Wild Honey, Fired Brick, Mustard Seed, Peeled Paint, Crushed Olive, Spiced Marmalade, Spun Sugar, Pumice Stone, Black Soot),
- white card base (21x10 cm),
- patterned paper for die cuts and background (20,7x9,7 cm),
- white cards stock for die cuts and background (19,7x8,7 cm),
- black pen,
- white pen,
- paper glue.

First I cut the eggs and bunny's clothes out of patterned paper. I used Distress Inks to color around the edges.

Next I cut the bunny and all the daffodils and colored it.

The I cut the background paper.

Then I arranged all the pieces and glued it on the card base. I colored the sky around the bunny and daffodils.

And my card was done.

I wish you all a Happy Easter Sunday. I hope you get to spend it with people you love and good food.

See you again next week.

Anja Z.

Colorful Spring

Hi, Janja is here with you.
Daffodil is a harbinger of a colorful spring. Her flowers are cheering us with a strong and wonderful fragrance from the beginning of March to the end of May.
For today, I made a simple spring card.

- CottageCutz dies: Buster w/Spring Daffodil, Carrot Patch Bunny (soil)
- white card base: 4.25 x 5.5" (10,8 x 14 cm), folded
- patterned paper: 4 x 5.2" (10,2 x 13,2 cm)
- colored cardstock
- colored ink pads
glue, double-sided adhesive tape, self-adhesive foam pads

When we cut out all the pieces from a colored cardstock, shadow them around the edges with colored pads.
For this purpose I use makeup brushes.

Prepare a card base and trim the selected patterned paper for background. Stamp a sentiment.

Now, it's time to finish the card.

Have a nice day.

Buster

Good Morning Scrapping Cottage Friends!

It is Pam sharing with you on the blog today!

The south is just blooming with Daffodils and Azalea!  I know some parts of the country are still experiencing cold weather so I am sending you warm thoughts!  The die I am using today is from the new Spring Release.  I hope you take a moment and check it out.  You will not be disappointed.  Plus the sale is still going for 25% off the new Spring Release dies!

Design Steps
 1.  Cut out the dog and daffodil using the Buster w/ Spring Daffodil die.  I used tan, dark brown, light green, dark green and yellow card stock
 2.  Shade Buster with sponge and inks.  Assemble the dog and flower
 3.  Use the largest Pierced Wide Rectangle Frame and cut out the white frame
 4.  Cut out a piece of cloud DP just slightly smaller then the frame add dimension tape to the back of the frame
 5.  Use the Spring Grass die and cut out grass using green card stock
 6.  Glue the cloud DP to a A2 white card base, add the grass and then pop on the frame.  Glue down Buster and the daffodil.  Last use the Stitched Alphabet die and cut out the word spring in yellow then add to the top of the frame as shown.  Your cute card is complete
