Made With Love

Hi!

It's Anja here. I played with some Christmas dies for today's post. During last month and a half when I was mostly at home I did plenty of baking. And this is where the inspiration for today's post came.

For this card I used:
- Cottage Cutz dies (Gingerbread Baking Set, Baking Reindeer, Made w/ Love Phrase, Sweetheart Doilies),
- Distress Inks,
- craft card base (17,5x12,5 cm),
- white card stock for die cuts and background (17x7 cm),
- red card stock for die cuts and background (17x12 cm),
- patterned paper for background (16,7x11,7 cm),
- yellow card stock for background (17x7,8 cm),
- white pen,
- silver pigment ink,
- adhesive foam pads,
- paper glue.

First I cut and colored all baking props.

Next I cut the sentiment. I made two cuts from two different colored card stock.

I glued the yellow one on top of the red one.

Then I cut all the pieces for the background.

I decided to add some interest to the background with a few doilies. I die cut three and trimmed it in half.

This is how I adhered it on the back. I used adhesive foam pads to glue this part on the bard base.

Then I added all the other pieces and my card was done.

I wish you all a lovely week and see you again next Sunday.

Anja Z.

Cookies for Santa

Hello!  This is Sukie and today I'm sharing this holiday card for my design team post.  The Baking Reindeer die is one of the most adorable sets in the new Christmas die release.
I used colored card stock to cut out all of the pieces and inked them on the edges.  I added some chalk to the cheeks of the reindeer.  A couple of extra bowls and a spoon were cut out to be used as embellishments.
I put together my card base and a Stitched Square which was accented with some Krafty Red Trendy Twine.  The Stitched Square was layered on some burgundy card stock.  The border strip was punched with the Fiskars Scallop Sentiment punch.  The sentiment is from Scrappy Moms (retired) A Holiday to Remember stamp set.  I also hand cut a basic flag in some polka dotted paper.
I put together my card base by placing the scalloped border along the edge of my card.  The square was added on top with the hand cut flag tucked underneath.
The Baking Reindeer fit perfectly inside the square.  The extra set of bowls with the spoon were added to the bottom of my card.
The sentiment was the finishing accent on the bottom of my card for a cohesive look.
Here are the dies used on my card, available in the shop:
