Camping Friends

Good morning Cottagecutz fans. I hope you have had or are having a wonderful Thanksgiving. We don’t celebrate it in the UK but I pass all my blessings on to you

So it’s Wendy with the Black Friday blog and what an incredible array of new dies we have, each cuter than the last if that is possible. So I’m going to start my tutorial just giving you the basics of how the base card was put together.

Firstly I took a piece of Bazzill Bling Shimmer cardstock. I layered approx. half the card with it

Next I cut out the ‘Grass Slimline’ twice so that I could layer them on top of each other, I have attached the bottom and sides of the hills with 1mm foam pads so that I could slot other elements in them. I also cut out the mountains 3 times with the icy caps because I am making a slimline card and needed all 3

I then layered these elements onto the base card before cutting out the remainder of items to populate my card. The mountains were layered behind the grass
The other elements I used on my card were as follows:
‘Campin Out Bear in Tent’
‘Campin Out Campfire’
’Campin out Sun’
‘Campin out Trees’
‘The mug from ‘Campin our Bear in Log’ - I found an old heart die from my Cottagecutz stash to put on the mugs which I though was cute
‘Campin Out Moose and Reindeer’

Here are some close ups for you. All elements were stuck down with 1mm foam pads to give a bit of dimension. I like the fact that they all look like they’ve just got up and are having morning cocoa :-)

To finish the card off I printed a sentiment and used a guillotine to cut it to size and here is your final card

I really hope you like the card and have as much fun with these dies as I did. I wish you a very happy weekend and hope you have plenty of time to craft. I shall see you on Tuesday for another blog post
