Traveling Llama!

Good Morning Scrapping Cottage Crafters!

Hello it is Pam sharing on the blog today! We don't have a new release of dies for July,  so we are having a throwback month.  The team will be featuring some of our previously released dies to give you some fresh ideas for using them.

Since it is vacation time for a many families I thought it would be fun to make a travel related card.  My niece is going on short mission trip with her church. She is heading to El Salvador to work with children and share her love of singing to the Lord!  So this card is dedicated to her.

Design Steps:

 1.  Cut all of the pieces from the Traveling Llama in white card stock
 2.  Use your markers and color the pieces.  I find it easier to color the smaller pieces while they are still attached to the larger piece of white card stock
 3.  After all of the pieces are colored assemble the llama
 4.  Use an A2 white card base, cut a slightly smaller piece of red then a slightly smaller piece of DP.  Use the third from the largest Pierced Rectangle die and cut out a white rectangle
 5.  Pop up the Llama onto the white rectangle
 6.  Glue the red card stock to the DP map and add the ribbon.  Then glue the panel to the front of the white card base
7.  Use the Retro Tag Toppers and cut out the pieces in tan and dark brown.  Stamp the sentiment and cut out the circle and glue the tag together
8.  Pop the rectangle with the llama to the front of the card then add the sentiment tag and your card is complete

  2. Very cool! I always chuckle when I see that llama with all those suitcases on his back. All the embellishments on the suitcase remind me of a face. I don't know if that was on purpose or merely a coincidence. I like how you used the map as your background.
