New Arrival. . it's a boy

Hello all, this week I have a Baby Card in a sleeve style envelope. I planed out a six panel card that looked like a baby quilt to add a border of Baby Boy items along the base of the card. The Baby Boy items are from the Cottage Cutz Baby Boy Cloths die. I used foam dots to raise every other item to add dimension. The die has a clothespin, so I hung the bunny from the "R" in arrival. The weight of the bunny looks like it is tugging on the word ARRIVAL.  The quilt panels and cloths were all highlighted in a slightly darker shade of ink and Copic markers. Brown and blue flowers were also added with yellow seed beads in the centers.
I used a single quilting square on the pocket style envelope. . . slightly offset. I used the same inks to edge and sponge the envelope. The double notch was for the bow.
As you slide the card down into the envelope, the bow now shows on the outside of the envelope because of the round notches. You really only need a notch the width of about twice the knot in the bow, but if I had cut a deep slender knotch  you would had had to really work at sliding the card into the envelope. . . by adding the secound wide half circle notch the card slides in with no effort . . like a funnel. The bow covers the notch perfectly.  I know there is a question about why I used a notch on the back side of the envelope. . . .it is easier also to pull the card out without bending or denting the envelope.
These are the four Cottage Cutz dies used in this card.
Alphabet - Kara Ashley (the word NEW)
Alphabet - County Fair (the word ARRIVE)
Baby Boy Cloths - for the cute baby items
Flower Vine - for the mini flowers added to the card.

thanks Barry

CottageCutz Baby Girl Clothesline

Greetings and welcome it's Carol here today.  I have a card to show you that I created for The Scrapping Cottage with their wonderful "Baby" line that you can see here.
Isn't this clothesline so sweet.  I just love the little girls clothes on the line.  This card was really simple to make.  I only used CottageCutz dies and the lace is a Martha Stewart punch around the page.  This card measure 4-1/2" x 8-1/2".  These are the dies used:

Thanks so much for stopping by.  I really appreciate it.  Hope you have a wonderful day and I will see you soon!

CottageCutz More White on White

Hello friends!  I have two cards to share with you today.  For the first card I used a few dies from the baby release.  Everything was cut from white cardstock.  I was trying to give the illusion of an embossed card by placing the baby clothes and bottles randomly on the white background.  I added a little pop of light blue to represent a baby boy.

My next card was made from the CottageCutz Garden Bench die.  Cut from white and colored with Copics this little die cut could be used for Spring and Summer cards or layouts for the garden enthusiast.

Enjoy the day and I hope you have a great weekend!

Hugs and smiles,
Janice

CottageCutz I ♥ My Dog

Good morning!  It's Lorie here today to share a cute little 6x6 scrapbook page made with some adorable CottageCutz dies.  I love 6x6 pages, for so many reasons, but primarily because they are quick and easy.  Scrapbooking doesn't come so easy to me, and I always feel like I've REALLY accomplished something when I can get several 6x6 pages finished.  So, on with the project for today!
In making this fun little page, I used the following CottageCutz dies from The Scrapping Cottage:

All of the die cut pieces were cut with white card stock and colored with various Copic markers.  The patterned paper is a fabulous find from DCWV, and the picture really doesn't do the beautifully embossed paper justice.  The fibers added a nice finishing touch and great texture to this page, and now it's ready for a photo of my favorite pup.  Like so many people, I ♥ my puppies, and I've always got pictures of them doing sweet and funny things, so there are a multitude of occasions to scrapbook, and these dies will fit the bill every time, giving me many, many options for great layouts.  Hope you like it!!

Have a blessed and beautiful day and happy scrappin' to ya!

Pretty in Pink Romper bear/Alcohol Ink Technique Video

Hello everyone , today's card is an Easel Card with a Alcohol ink technique I used on the CottageCutz Romper Bear. I have a video if you would like to watch on how I inked her up :)
For my card I used several different CottageCutz Dies. I added pictures of the CottageCutz dies used below :)

First is the Romper Bear, isnt she CUTE???!!!! I just LOVE this lil' Darling! I inked her up and then added her romper outfit using dp. All pieces were glued together using Helmar Premium Craft Glue.

Next she is sitting on some GREENERY this is a CottageCutz die, and has 3 different greenery branches to choose from. I used all 3 on my card here. I did cut them out with green polka dot design paper.

I also used the CottageCutz Baby Buttons Mini,  these are super DARLING!!! I cut them out with matching coordinating design paper and then ran thread through them, to make them look sewn on :)

Lastly I used the CottageCutz Baby Frame to frame the Romper Bear. I also used a piece from the CottageCutz Large Baby Doily and Frame. I thought it would look cute up on the top of the Baby Frame.

All the Dew Drops are from the Robins Nest, they are called Lovebirds! I used them around the coners of the card, or for the corners of the card, and glued them on with Helmars Gemstone Glue.

Alcohol Ink Technique with CottageCutz Romper Bear!

I want to say Thank you for looking and I do hope you all have a wonderful day!!
hugs to all,
Cheryl

CottageCutz Christening Gown

Hello friends and bloggers.  It's Carol here with a creation.   Today I have a Cottage Cutz Baby's Christening Card for my project.   Did you see the Baby Collection at The Scrapping Cottage.  You have just got to check them out here.  They are so cute!
This card measure 5 x 5 inches.  I used Martha Stewart's Lace Doily punch around the page and Spellbinders Square Fleur De Lis.  All other dies are from Cottage Cutz including the flowers
The flowers were created by die cutting three petals each for a total of 9 flowers to create the three you see here.  I used the McGill Blossoms kit to create the dimension in the flowers and then attached a pearl in the center.  After they were assembled I stickled the edges.
Here are the dies I used to make this card from Cottage Cutz:

Thanks for stopping by today.  I really appreciate it.

Baby Release Variations

Hello friends!  Today I wanted to share some of the assembled die cuts from the CottageCutz Baby Release.    I want to show you how small changes can sometimes make big differences.  First I have several Christening Gowns cut out in various colors.

These 3 gowns were cut from off white cardstock.  The one on the far left is just the diecut.  The middle gown was distressed with YR0000, pale chiffon copic.  The 3rd gown was distressed with Tim Holtz Tea Dye distress ink.

Next we have 2 blue gowns cut from the same cardstock.  One was distressed with Memento Summer Sky ink, the other with Tim Holtz tea dye distress ink.  This gives a very different look to 2 gowns cut from the same color.  The green gown was distressed with Memento Pear Tart ink.

The pink dress on the left was stamped with some small vines and a heart using Memento Angel Pink.  That is my favorite from this selection.  It looks much nicer in person.  The second pink card was highlighted with a white gel pen.

Finally I have 3 bears cut with the CottageCutz Romper Bear to show you.  2 were cut from Kraft cardstock, the other was cut from plaid patterned paper.

Different outfits on each bear and all 3 bears were distressed with the tea dye ink.  I hope I have inspired you to try different ways for using your dies.  I will be back in 10 days to share some finished cards from this baby release.  As always, thanks so much for visiting!  Enjoy your day!

Hugs and smiles,
Janice
