Good morning! Yes, Fall is definitely in the air. It's a chilly 42 degrees this morning, and I'm warming up with some beautiful Fall color, both inside and out. Outside the leaves are beginning their change, and inside I'm crafting away with beautiful papers in rust, brown, and gold colors. I took those wonderful warm colored papers and worked them into this altered Band-Aid tin. I used the Happy Fall Y'all and Mini Pumpkin Cottage Cutz dies for this creation. I used colored card stock, and colored the pumpkin with my Copics, then added some sponging to the edges of all the pieces with some Tim Holtz Vintage Photo ink. I had a little scrap of lace that I had crocheted some time ago that just fit perfectly around the edge of the tin. I'm so glad I riffled through my scrap ribbon jar and stumbled upon that little piece of lace, and it made me so happy to find a use for it.
Now I'm ready to fill this pretty piece with a yummy treat, or some mini cards, or who knows what. These are so quick and easy to make, and such a nice little gifting item. Thanks so much for stopping by today. Have a blessed day, and happy crafting to you!
Very cute basket!
ReplyDeleteThis is so cute, Lorie!! I LOVE the Cottage Cutz word dies because they make adding a sentiment or title so quick and easy but it still looks great! Fun project today!
