CottageCutz Shabby Chic New Home

Greetings dear ones.  It's Carol here today sharing a project I created for CottageCutz.  Tomorrow we are having a Blog Hop with some great prizes so be sure to come back for your chance to win.   This card was going to be for the blog hop, but I changed my mind.  Isn't it a woman's prerogative to change her mind...lol
Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall there is no place like home.  The inspiration for this card came from pinterest and this great little find:  Door 23, 24, & 27.  Isn't that awesome.   Isn't this a great way to Congratulate someone on their new home.  Bet they would display this for a long time "in" that new home!!!

We'll start with Winter for the front door as that seems the time of year a house gets decorated the most.   Right down to the little Snow Bunny by the door!
To the left is Spring and to the right is Summer.  The last panel is fall

Below is a list of the CottageCutz die that were used to create this.  If you are wanting to make one of these of your own, you can find the measurements for the panels and the hinges in the video along with detailed discriptions of what was used.  Thanks for stopping by today.  Be sure to come back tomorrow for the Blog Hop!

CottageCutz- Shabby Chic Sweet Cottage

Hello everyone, today I'm sharing the Inside Cover page of my album.

I love the way this one turned out, I used several CottageCutz Dies on this page. and used different techniques.

So for my CottageCutz Sweet Sign I used CIP's Black Embossing powder to make the sign shinny , and I LOVE the look it gave it. I also did the SWEET in heat embossing as well.

Next for the CottageCutz Mini Dress Form I used Flower Soft on the top and then colored the bottom green to make it look like a flower tree outside of the house.

For the MINI POODLE I dusted her in pink and black distress inks, and then did a clear embossing powder over her.

HOUSE- is CottageCutz CottageVille /Santa's Retreat. LOVE that you can use these all year round, and make them anything you want. I made my a Shabby Chic Cottage!!

Greenery is CottageCutz Ivy , and Then Greenery Dies

All of the scalloped Borders on the bottom
of the layers are the CottageCutz Oval Doily & Frame , cut and layered. Its nice to be able to use this die in a different way.

Lastly I added room for photo's on the 3 tags , 2 pull out the sides, and the middle one that is behind the Cottage

Thank you for looking and have a lovely day!
Hugs to all,
Cheryl

Happy Monday to all of you!

Hello Friends!

Sorry I am a little late posting today. We have been having some really nice Fall weather and I know my sisters in WI have been enjoying beautiful sunshine and changing colors. For todays card, I wanted to try and achieve a shabby chic kind of feel. I think I was successful. I have been wanting to go apple picking, but haven't made it yet. I hope to before apple picking season is over. Here in New England, there are lots of places to chose from, and you don't have to drive too far. We went apple picking when we lived in Arizona, surprisingly. The groves were smaller but the apples were good. I still prefer the cooler fall weather of the Midwest and the changing colors. Massachusetts has a very similar climate as my home state of Wisconsin. I do miss the wide streets and sidewalks of Wisconsin, but New England is beautiful too!

I used two mini dies today. Apples and CottageCutz Basket Mini (currently sold out). I will be back next Monday. Have a great week!! :) Janice
