Yum, More Christmas Cookies

Hi, Lois here with my last Christmas card of the year.  A couple of weeks ago I made a card using the CottageCutz ornament dies and Peachy Keen face stamps, dishing up a plate of gingerbread cookies.   After I made the card, I thought, "Wouldn't it be fun to have someone take a bite out of one of those cookies?"  Thus, the idea for today's card was born.

Supplies for this card:

Cream cardstock base (pre-cut) 10" x 6 1/2", folded in half
Green cardstock - 4 3/4" x 6 1/4"
Patterned paper - 4 5/8" x 6 1/8"
Kraft cardstock
Red cardstock (scraps)
Green cardstock (scraps)
Kraft-colored cardboard
White detail embossing powder
Versamark ink
Doily
White gel pen
Red craft paint and brush
Scallop Circle punch

Cut three of the smallest star ornaments and three of the smallest circle ornaments from Kraft cardstock; then cut six of each from the cardboard.

Using the punch, cut out the "bite marks" from one Kraft circle and two cardboard circles -- ensuring that the punches are the same size.  Then "build" the cookies by gluing two cardboard pieces and one Kraft piece together.   After stamping and embossing the faces on each of the cookies, add some extra icing with a white gel pen.  Paint a touch of red on the candy canes.

Cut the holly leaves and sentiment.

Construct the card, leaving an open space on the doily to show that the cookie had originally been there.

Chalkboard style

 Hi, all! Vladka is here!

This time I have two cards with chalkboard style  for you. I love this style and I´ve used it before, but I wanted to try it also with CottageCutz dies. I combined different dies from different releases: Christmas, Harvest and from the last Winter release which is so playful. Here are both cards:
First one is combination of Wreath, Mittens, Winterland Holly and Bow dies. First two are cut out from black cardstock and embossed with white powder. Winterland Holly and Bow are coloured with Distress Inks.
Second one is combined from Snowflake, Ice Skates and Poinsettia dies. Also here are Snowflake and Ice Skates cut out from black cardstock and embossed with white powder and Poinsettia is coloured with different Distress Inks.
Holidays approaching very fast and I have so much to do till then. I have to hurry up.
But I still have time to wish you great day and don´t forget to have fun!

Build-A-Christmas Stocking Tussy Mussy

Hello everyone, Cheryl here today with 3 Tussy Mussys I made for a 12 day of Christmas swap i'm in. For these 3 I used the CottageCutz Build- a -Christmas Stocking, and the CottageCutz Winterland Holly. LOVE the look of these. I will be adding some candy inside of all my Tussy Mussy's/

The tussy mussy was made using the Toilet Paper Rolls, I covered them in design paper around the outside and also added design paper on the inside of the top part. Next I added some really reasonable Ribbon Brown Crocheted lace, and Brown Seam Binding, and then added the stocking and Holly, and lastly the ribbon bow and tag. My CottageCutz Build-A-Christmas Stocking was colored with copics and then I added some Glitter to the top part of my stockings.

I have others that I have made for this swap, a total of 13, and will have to share them later :)

Thank you for looking and have a lovely day!!
hugs to all,
Cheryl

Letters to Santa

Hi, Vladka here!
In our family is tradition, that we all write letters to Santa with one Christmas gift wish, which have the price limit of course :) When all letters are written, each is put into envelope and then each of us pick one letter and has to buy one present. Of course it should stay in secret who is Santa to whom, but that doesn´t work always. It is fun and Christmas shopping is less stressful and mostly is less stressful for our wallets :) So, here are two examples for this year:
To made these two letters, I used white cardstock for basic and colored them with Antique Linen Distress Ink. For motives, I used die from Homemade Chirstmas Gift Set and also the Winterland Holly. As always, I colored the die cuts also with different Distress Inks. Post can be find also on CottageCutz blog.
Have a great weekend and don´t forget to think about your wishes for this Christmas.

Christmas Cheer Candles

Hi all! Vladka here again with another Christmas Card!
This time I used  Christmas Cheer Candlesand Spice Rack&Jars dies to create peaceful Christmas atmosphere.
As usually, I used different Distress Inks to colored all die cuts. Then I use a sentiment and a little heart and card was finished. I just love to create Christmas theme cards. It fills me with warmth and excitement.
