CottageCutz Beautiful Butterfly

Hello everyone, Cheryl here with my Easel card designed for The Scrapping Cottage using the BEAUTIFUL CottageCutz Build-a-Butterfly & Lace Flower Doily.
For my card I used the CottageCutz Build-a-Butterfly using black shiny DCWV card stock, and then glitter card stock. To get my butterfly 3-D I used Scrap Dots. I also added some Viva Pearl pen to the black on the butterfly, it looks like pearls but its a liquid. I LOVE this butterfly from CottageCutz its super EASY and Beautiful for cards, layouts, and mini albums!

The CottageCutz Lace Flower Doily was also cut using the same black cardstock, and it was a scrap piece, so I didnt cut the entire doily out :) NICE way to use up your small scrap pieces :)

CottageCutz Catching a Buzzzzzzz!

Hello and happy Wednesday!  Lorie here today with a fun little card made with CottageCutz dies from the Spring Blossom release at The Scrapping Cottage.   These gorgeous dies just arrived in my mailbox yesterday, and I could hardly wait to get that package opened and start playing!

I used some patterned paper from my stash, added some punched elements for the sentiment and embellishment.  The wings of the bee have Stickles added to them for sparkle.  Oh!  I almost forgot!  I sponged the edges of the doily and bee's wings with distress ink, as well as the body, using  opaque white ink.   You can see that by adding just that wee bit of sponging, it gives the die cut a much more 3-Dimensional look.
For this card, I used the following dies:

This Spring Blossom release has a lot of great dies lending endless possibilities for some truly amazing projects.  Be sure to visit The Scrapping Cottage to check them ALL out!  You'll be glad you did!!!  Have a wonderful and blessed day, and Happy Crafting!!
