Hi, Vladka is here today!
I like to experiment at card creating sometimes and this was one of my little experiments. Every time I'm surprised how I enjoy such things. My hands, dirty because of the different colors, make me feel like artist, which I'm not, but we can feel like it sometimes, don't you think? :)
So, I took light blue and white watercolor tubes which I added to my working surface and with a little sponge I started to tapped and drawing lines on my piece of kraft paper. But I was careful not to press too much, because I didn't want to cover the whole surface. This was my base. Then I cut out all my die pieces, for what I used dies from Lights, Camera, Action release. Special set which I like very much and it's perfect to create invitations for Movie Night. I used following dies: Film Reels, Film Strip and Movie Night and Ticket. Except word Movie, which was cut out of red paper, everything else was cut out of black paper. Also on these pieces I applied some white and light blue colors and after that distressed them with brown distress ink to get more rusty look.
I needed something more, so I took a little piece of scrapbook paper with text, tore it apart and glued all pieces back together with Vintage Antique Matte Mod Podge glue, which gave me yellow look. After it was dry, I also distressed it with brown Distress ink. I glued everything together and here is the finish look. I hope you like my mixed media experiment. :)
