Don't be angry with me, Santa + Giveway

Hi all. Vladka here today!
I have to admit, I did it also these year. I wasn't good and I promised Santa previous year. And now he has enough and doesn't want to talk to me and reindeer either. Is there still enough time to change this?
Cards can be fun, don't you think? I surely had fun creating it, specially because new CottageCutz Christmas dies are so adorable. I used Santa and Reindeer Resting die and kraft cardstock this time and stamped background with stamp and white pigment ink. I also used white watercolor tube and put it some on my craft sheet and added some water. Then I used sheet of plastic acetate, gentle press it into the white color and carried it to paper, to get some white splodges. Edges were distressed with edge distresser and after that with Gathered Twigs Distress Ink. All die cuts were also colored with different Distress Inks. Text was printed directly on paper, I just added "Dear Santa" expression. Die is part of Christmas Gift set.
Also don't forget to join us in our CottageCutz Giveaway for the Month of October, leave a Comment on each post from October 12th-October 31st for chances to WIN a Gift Certificate to the Scrapping Cottage Store.
Card Supplies I used:
CottageCutz dies: Santa and Reindeer Resting and Christmas Gift set (Dear Santa expression)
Card stock: kraft
Distress InkGathered Twigs, Fired Brick, Aged Mahogany, Black Soot
Other: scissors, paper trimmer, scor-buddy, glue tape, plastic acetate, craft sheet

Gorgeous card, I love the way you make all the layers. And I think I had to send such a note to Santa too.

Oh, Vladka. Your card is SUPERB. I love how you got the white splotches and your shading is fantastic. I also really like your distressing and inking of the edges. Beautiful, as always.

Great card! The shading is magnificent. Sure wish I could shade like that. It adds great depth to the characters. The Resting Santa and Reindeer die is at the top of my wish list.
