CottageCutz Sweet Little Baby

Good morning!  Well, it's Monday, and I hope it's shaping up to be a good one for ya.  Have you seen  this baby release from The Scrapping Cottage?  It just couldn't have come at a better time.  I spent the weekend celebrating two new babies that are to be born into our family within the next 4-6 weeks.  My niece will welcome her second little one at the end of next month, and on September 12th, my second grandson will make his debut.  It's so wonderful to have the opportunity to celebrate these special blessings and that made it easy to find inspiration for creating this sweet card.
In creating this, I used the following amazing Cottage Cutz dies:

The adorable little baby elephant was cut out using Express It Blending Card, and I colored it with Copic markers.  On the beautifully detailed large baby doily and frame, I used a very heavy weight card stock, so that it would be stronger in order to hold the flowers and baby elephant die cut.  The flowers, turquoise grosgrain ribbon and sentiment from Stampin' Up! finished this one up, and on, what fun it was!!

I hope you enjoyed a wonderful weekend and that your week is off to an amazing start.  Thanks for joining us here on The Scrapping Cottage Blog.  Have a fabulous day!!!

Nbuston - I used the C series numbers 1,3, and 5 for the elephant. R20 for the cheeks. R81, R83 and R85 for the ears, and for the diaper I used Blue violets, BV0000, BV00, and BV01.

Thank you so much Lorie! I am taking a couple of Copics classes at the Scrapbook Expo in my area on Friday. I know that I will have to invest in some of these, but it is nice to know which ones are being used for projects that I see. Thank you for the info on the paper too. I thought that there was special paper that worked better for the Copic pens. I am looking forward to experimenting with this media. The card you made to share today, was outstanding!
