Fresh Snowflakes

Yes, Tis the season . . it is time for Fresh Snowflakes. Iron Chef Chilly Snowflakest is back to create fresh snowflakes for holiday 2010. For this card I used two of the Cottage Cuts Dies, Snowman Doll and Doll Accessories 1. The snowman needed a chef's hat and scarf, they were on the accessories 1 die, I made the rolling pin from scraps of card stock with a little white ink for flour. The snowflakes were from the cutouts on the border. I raised the snowflake frame with foam tape so the snowflakes could be scattered around under the edge of the frame. It also added an airy look to the snowflake cutouts. I tied a metal spoon embellishment along with a doily style cutout from the bottom of the card. The snowman accessories are highlighted with a Sakura Sparkle Gel pen. Watercolors were used to tint his nose and cheeks.

Happy Holidays!

How cute is that!! Love this little guy. Although, he would not be smoking that pipe while he bakes in my kitchen. LOL!!! Great work as always, Barry. :)

Wonderful card, Barry! I love the snowflake frame. Just sets everything off beautifully, and great use of the negatives from that frame. Adorable!!
